This course introduces the classification of major international academic journals, including SCI (Science Citation Index), SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index), SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded), and ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index).
It aims to help students understand the academic influence and recognition of each type of journal, and explains how submitting to the wrong journal may impact the academic value of their research as well as their future opportunities for further study or employment.
